Ich kenne mich mit dem "Amazon Fire" nicht aus....falls folgendes also Unsinn ist, einfach ignorieren.
Das temporäre booten vom Recovery mit fastboot boot recovery.img funktioniert mW auch nicht überall. Soll das bei einem "Amazon Fire" so gehen? Warum nicht flashen, wie woanders auch? fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Edit: Ok, das steht bei XDA so beschrieben, dann halte ich mich mal raus....
Edit2: Einfach mal beim XDA-Thread im ersten Post die roten Zeilen beachten und auch mal die letzten Seite(n) vom Thread lesen und nicht einfach drauflos basteln!

"If you are on FireOS 5.1.2 and took no special precautions to preserve an older version of the bootloader then you can not use TWRP. There is no mechanism to query the bootloader version directly nor can you rollback to an earlier version (instant brick). Although 5.1.2 can be rooted the procedure remains a work in progress with further challenges if you want to use FlashFire to install a custom rom.
